Mrs. Wallace was so glad she shared! Mrs. Wallace, an LPN in Mason City, Illinois, shares that she is so thankful for the distribution of New Testaments to nurses. In her years of nursing she has “worn out” two and loaned one to a nun, who kept it. She has had many opportunities to share the message it contains with people who are sick and discouraged. It was an especially happy occasion when she visited her 87 year old father in the nursing home. He was not a Christian and as she began to read to him from her medical New Testament, the message of the Word touched his heart and he allowed Jesus Christ to enter his heart. She said the most beautiful smile of joy and peace came upon his face, and she left expecting to return the next afternoon. However, before she got back she received a call that he had gone into a coma and had slipped into the presence of His new found Friend, Jesus Christ, in heaven. She was so glad that when her father expressed a desire, she had her medical testament in her pocket, and that someone had cared enough to share it with her. Contributor's Note A True Story!
